Learn the names and history of some of the brightest stars in the summer skies. You may uncover some surprises along the way. \nSeptember 18: Put a Ring On ItIt’s everybody’s favorite planet in the solar system\, and the hype is well-deserved! Beautiful Saturn will rise in the evening sky to show off its subtle stripes\, radiant rings and many moons. If we’re lucky\, we may catch Neptune\, too!

The event will conclude with a special “Lights Off” finale on November 1\, offering an intense blackout experience for thrill-seekers. \nNightmare Wharf also serves as a fundraiser supporting the Naval Park’s ongoing preservation efforts during upcoming ship repairs.
