Zodiaque Dance Company 51st Season Spring Concert

Presented by the Department of Theatre and Dance, Zodiaque Dance Company (ZDC) takes the stage with an exciting spring concert showcasing UB’s eminent pre-professional dance company. Founded in 1974, ZDC has spent more than five decades presenting innovative, creative performances by outstanding student dancers.

The program features a diverse array of dance styles, including modern, contemporary, jazz, African, tap, and other percussive forms. Works are created by a varied and accomplished group of choreographers and highlight collaborations with students from UB’s Theatre Design and Technology program. The concert is co-directed by faculty members Kerry Ring and Michael Deeb Weaver, who will also set works.

UB Dance Day & Sunday, March 1
All standard ticketing options are available, along with a special $35 UB Dance Day Ticket, which includes:

• A participatory pre-show workshop for ages 14 and up in the UB Center for the Arts Dance Studios (Rooms B82 and B84). Check-in begins at noon outside the studios.

• A movement-based dance class connected to the 2 p.m. performance, observation of company warm-up, and a Q&A with UB dance majors. No specific dancewear required come dressed to move.

• Admission to the 2 p.m. performance in the Drama Theatre.
