Join us on Saturday, October 10 at 1:00&2:00 PM in the Ring of Knowledge for the conclusion of our 2026 Explore Buffalo Series, “World War II: Buffalo Women on the Homefront!” Speaker Cheryl McDonald will discuss Buffalo’s focus on industry and manufacturing to help with the war effort. Learn about the especially important roles women played in these efforts by performing existing jobs and learning new skills on the Homefront. This is a celebration of women’s work in Buffalo and Western New York.
