Urban Farm Day Bus Tour

Urban Farm Day is supported by Gardens Buffalo Niagara, highlighting local growers in a variety of spaces and inspirations. This bus tour visits approximately five of the 20+ sites featured on Urban Farm Day. The list of stops will be available in June. 

Meet at the parking lot of the Buffalo History Museum at 1 Museum Court, Buffalo NY 14216, at the corner of Elmwood Avenue and Nottingham Terrace. Please park near the Elmwood Avenue side of the parking lot. Please arrive 5-10 minutes early so that we can begin promptly at 9am. From the History Museum, we will travel by bus to the other locations and return to end the tour at the History Museum. This tour will be approximately 4.5-5 hours in length. This tour will include some walking off the bus at each location; some of this walking will be on unpaved surfaces in the gardens. Please note there are also several steps to get on and off the bus.

• Advance reservations are required for all tours, including for Explorer Pass members. Walk-ups without reservations cannot be accommodated. Please note that space is limited for this bus tour.      
• Reservations close two hours before the tour’s scheduled start time (for example, reservations close at 7am for a 9am tour). 
• The Explore Buffalo docent for your tour will have a list of tour reservations for their tour; you do not need to print or bring any tour confirmation. 
• Accessibility: This tour will include some walking off the bus at each location; some of this walking will be on unpaved surfaces in the gardens. Please note there are also several steps to get on and off the bus.
• Please wear comfortable walking shoes and dress for the weather.
• Photography is welcome and encouraged on this tour.
