Self-described “Brass House” trio Too Many Zooz blend avant-garde jazz, EDM, punk, and funk into a high-energy, danceable sound. The group baritone saxophonist Leo “Leo P” Pellegrino, trumpeter Matt “Doe” Muirhead, and drummer David “King of Sludge” Parks formed in 2013 after meeting at the Manhattan School of Music and began busking in New York subways, where their explosive performances quickly went viral.

Their 2016 debut album Subway Gawdz featured guests like Kreayshawn and members of Galactic, and that same year they appeared on Beyoncé’s Lemonade and performed with her and The Dixie Chicks at the CMAs.

Since then, Too Many Zooz have toured globally, released collaborations with artists like Moon Hooch and Beats Antique, and dropped the concept EP ZombiEP (2019). Their 2024 sophomore album, Retail Therapy, continues their genre-bending momentum with features from Moon Hooch, Thumpasaurus, Lucky Chops, and Too Many T’s.
