THE SMITHS Etc – The Queen Is Dead 40th Anniversary

The Smiths etc, a tribute to The Smiths, perform the landmark album The Queen Is Dead in its entirety to celebrate its 40th anniversary, including songs like “There Is a Light That Never Goes Out” and “Bigmouth Strikes Again”. The night also features beloved Smiths anthems such as “How Soon Is Now?”, “Heaven Knows I’m Miserable Now”, and “This Charming Man”.

The Smiths have been described as THE best band of the 1980s and continue to be loved across generations, influencing artists such as Radiohead, The Killers and Billie Eilish. Based out of WNY, THE SMITHS etc captures the beauty of their music, selling out clubs since their debut on Black Friday 2022. Their playlist of almost 40 songs includes classics like “There Is a Light That Never Goes Out”, “How Soon Is Now?”, and “This Charming Man” as well as deep cuts like “Back to the Old House”, “Nowhere Fast”, and “Jeane”. Capturing the spirit and the beauty of The Smiths’ music without any attempt to look like them.
