The Buffalo International Jewish Film Festival returns March 14&19, 2026, celebrating its 41st annual season, making it the third-longest-running Jewish film festival in North America. For more than four decades, the Festival has brought outstanding Jewish-themed films to Western New York, showcasing powerful stories from around the world.

All screenings will take place at the Maxine and Robert Seller Theatre at the Jewish Community Center, offering audiences a shared Festival home for six days of exceptional cinema and conversation.

The 2026 lineup features an exciting mix of award-winning films from the United States, Israel, and Europe, as well as unexpected international voices. Carefully curated by the Festival Committee, the selection reflects the richness and diversity of Jewish life, history, and culture.

The films span a wide range of themes and tones from deeply moving documentaries and historical narratives to uplifting, humorous, and thought-provoking stories. Topics include identity, family, resilience, creative reinvention, and contemporary social challenges, offering something for every film lover.

Now in its 41st year, the Buffalo International Jewish Film Festival remains a vibrant celebration of storytelling, community, and the enduring power of film.
