Sweet & Savory Pasties & Pies Workshop

Sweet & Savory Pasties & Pies Workshop at Genesee Country Village & Museum invites participants to step into a historic kitchen and learn traditional baking techniques.
Guests will practice pie and dough-making skills while preparing savory pasties and sweet tarts on a 19th-century woodstove. Along the way, Museum educators will share tips and trade secrets that can be used at home. Participants will leave with several small pies, as well as a handcrafted pie plate made by GCV&M potters.
This workshop is recommended for ages 16 and up. Participants under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a paid adult. Space is limited, and advance registration is required.
