Discover the captivating blend of architectural beauty, rich history, and eerie tales on a walking tour of the Allentown neighborhood. You will journey through this charming neighborhood, known for its stunning architecture, significant historical sites, and rumored haunted locations. As dusk falls, listen to tales of Allentown’s past. Stories of restless spirits, macabre events and mysterious occurrences may give you chills. We will walk through the streets to see both purveyors of spirits as well as talk about the departed spirits that may still be roaming the area. On October 3rd and 16th , the experience becomes even more intriguing when Psychic Medium Ivy Rivera joins the tour. Ivy will share her perspective and attempt to connect with the supernatural from Allentown’s past, adding an interactive and unforgettable dimension to this special evening.

This tour meets outside First Presbyterian Church at 1 Symphony Circle. There is ample parking at the church lot. The tour is approximately ninety minutes in length and one mile of walking. The tour starts around dusk – so watch your step on the city sidewalks that have some uneven surfaces!

Tour Procedures & Policies: 

• Reservations are required for all tours, including for Explorer Pass members. Walk-ups without reservations cannot be accommodated. Tours are generally limited to a maximum of 18 people per group. 
  • Reservations close two hours before the tour’s scheduled start time (for example, reservations close at 8am for a 10am tour). 
  • The Explore Buffalo docent for your tour will have a list of tour reservations for their tour; you do not need to print or bring any tour confirmation. 
• Accessibility: Please contact us at explore@explorebuffalo.org or (716) 245-3032 if you plan to attend this tour and will require accommodations or if you have questions about accessibility. 
• Please wear comfortable walking shoes and dress for the weather. Tours generally proceed rain or shine. In the event of weather that requires a tour cancellation, we will contact registered tour guests in advance of the tour.
