One of the most electrifying guitarists of her generation, Samantha Fish has long captivated audiences with her unmistakable energy, fearless artistry, and emotionally charged blend of blues’rock, soul, and pop. Renowned for her expressive guitar work and powerhouse stage presence, the Kansas City&born, New Orleans&based musician accelerated into a new era with the release of Paper Doll (2025, Rounder Records). The album followed her chart’topping, Grammy’nominated Death Wish Blues, which reached #1 on the Billboard Blues Chart and led to high’profile invitations to support The Rolling Stones, Jon Spencer, and Slash.

Samantha’s latest single, “Rusty Razor,” featuring Mick Collins, was added this week to London’s Planet Rock digital radio a station with more than one million monthly listeners streaming worldwide. The single arrives just as Fish launches an international tour across the UK, France, and Germany from late February through mid’March, before returning to the U.S. for an extensive run of spring dates from April through May, including a performance at Buffalo’s Asbury Art Center on Sunday, May 31, 2026.

Recorded between relentless tour legs, Paper Doll was tracked at The Orb in Austin and Savannah Studios in Los Angeles, channeling the raw electricity of Fish’s live shows. “I’d never made a record on the road like that,” she says. “Even though it was so intense, it felt good to keep up the momentum from the live show. It helped us make an album that’s got a real living, breathing pulse to it.” The album features her touring band: Ron Johnson (bass), Jamie Douglass (drums), and Mickey Finn (keys).

With a career already marked by performances alongside legends including The Rolling Stones, Eric Clapton, Slash, Kenny Wayne Shepherd, and Eric Johnson, Samantha Fish continues to deliver a live experience unlike any other in contemporary blues’rock fierce, soulful, and unmistakably her own.
