Celebrate Arbor Day in Cazenovia Park at the ReLeaf Arbor Day Tree Expo!

Hear what professional arborists and foresters have to say about what made them get into the urban forestry field. Learn for yourself what it’s all about on April 25, 2026 the Buffalo Olmstead Parks Conservancy will be hosting the Arbor Day Tree Expo. This event includes live tree climbing and equipment demonstrations by professional arborists, volunteer tree planting, “Touch-a-Truck”, tabling event of local arborist companies, and much more. This event gives students a chance to ask professionals about their field and what their day-to-day life is like as an urban arborist.  

This free, family-friendly event includes a tree planting and other demonstrations, along with tours of current tree care in the park. Learn about different aspects of tree care planting, pruning, and climbing and about the equipment used for tree care; meet with local tree care specialists; and explore potential careers in urban forestry and arboriculture. 

Come watch professionals doing work on trees in the park and ask questions about the arborist trade. Are you a student interested in working outdoors when you graduate? We have plenty of professionals you can talk to. And take home a tree seedling of your own to plant and celebrate trees!
