Nightmare Wharf

Get ready for a chilling new experience on Buffalo’s waterfront as the Nightmare Wharf makes its debut in October 2026 at the Buffalo and Erie County Naval & Military Park. This immersive, nighttime Halloween event will transform the historic ships and surrounding grounds into a large-scale scare experience featuring walkthrough attractions, eerie outdoor zones, roaming characters, themed photo ops, and live entertainment.

Guests can explore the haunted waterfront on select nights throughout October, with a full bar and gathering areas adding to the atmosphere. The event will conclude with a special “Lights Off” finale on November 1, offering an intense blackout experience for thrill-seekers.

Nightmare Wharf also serves as a fundraiser supporting the Naval Park’s ongoing preservation efforts during upcoming ship repairs. Additional details, including attraction themes and ticket information, will be announced soon.
