Music Is Art Festival 2026

The Music is Art Festival will return for its 24th year on September 12, 2026. Founded by Goo Goo Dolls bassist Robby Takac, this free community celebration typically features over 200 acts across roughly 20 stages, showcasing a massive variety of live music, art installations, and performance art.

Each September, the Music is Art Festival attracts thousands of people from WNY and the world. This annual homegrown festival showcases art in numerous forms. The festival also has many family friendly attractions including our ever-popular Kids Village, an instrument zoo and plenty of food and drink!

This year’s festival promises an eclectic mix of music, live performances, art installations, and interactive experiences designed to engage, inspire, and entertain attendees of all ages. The festival is poised to paint a vivid picture of Buffalo’s artistic prowess and cultural vibrancy.
