Jacobo Vega-Albela presents a group of his closest musical collaborators from Rochester, New York. The quartet will be performing a set of original compositions by the members, as well as songbook selections and post-bop compositions from the 60s and onward. A fresh sound that is modern and forward-looking while rooted in the jazz idiom makes for a night of engaging music and exciting interaction between group members.

Vega-Albela released his debut album “Un-Belonging” with Brooklyn-based label 577 Records in May of 2025. He was a 2023 participant in Betty Carter’s Jazz Ahead, and a 2022 graduate of the Eastman School of Music.
