Hands-on Haunted Tunnel Bookmaking class & art in the Book Arts studio!
It’s a book. It’s a diorama! It’s both! We’ll make a completed spooky tunnel book to celebrate the season. (You can also make a non-spooky book, should you prefer!)
A tunnel book uses two identical accordion folded spines, facing in to provide the main structure. Images that have holes cut out in them are attached to the folds. The cut outs allow you to see through each page of the book to the page behind and are designed to give the structure depth. This book folds flat but expands into a 3D scene.
This class is geared towards beginners and seasoned bookmakers alike & we welcome makers of all skill levels.
