Cyanotype Printing

Discover the magic of sun prints! In this workshop, kids will create cyanotype prints using images of Charles Burchfield and other natural materials. For this workshop, we’ll take a short tour through the current exhibition, Charles Burchfield: A Vast Tiny World, Burchfield’s Insects & Spiders, and then head outside for the workshop.

About your instructor: 

Michaela Worosz (she/her) is a visual and fiber artist based in Buffalo, New York. In her role as Manager of School and Studio Programs at the Burchfield Penney Art Center, she draws on years of experience in museum education to guide learners of all ages in discovering visual expression, exploring new media, and engaging in hands-on making. Trained with a BA in Visual Art & New Media from SUNY Fredonia and an MA in Museum Studies from Buffalo State University, she applies her interdisciplinary background to design programs that merge art-making, observation, and storytelling.
