Cheektowaga Fourth of July Parade

The parade on Saturday begins at noon and will feature the Cheektowaga Police Honor Guard leading the procession. This year, the route has changed: instead of starting at the Thruway Plaza, the parade will step off near the intersection of Harlem Road and Walden Avenue and proceed along Harlem Road for around half a mile to Cheektowaga Town Park.

Participants will include local fire trucks and firefighters, police officers, superheroes, sports teams, and custom trucks. New additions to this year’s lineup are the Eastern Great Lakes Chief Petty Officer Association, a nonprofit organization of U.S. Coast Guard Chief Petty Officers dedicated to supporting their shipmates, their families, and the local community, and the Ambassadors Twirling Corps, a local baton twirling and competition team.

For the first time in many years, food trucks and live music will be available in the park immediately following the parade.
