Altar, Altar – Art Opening Reception

We are so excited to present to you all, Altar, Alter: A Group Show About Identity, Divination, and Alter Egos. Curated by Alison Cortes.

This show is a revival and reimagination of a former exhibit we’ve hosted at El Museo in previous years– honoring Altars, Dia De Los Muertos, and divination practices. This year, we are expanding our themes to include a wider scope of what it means to honor oneself, the divine, or connect with a grandeur energy.

Flier designed by Alison Cortes. Featuring artwork from: Adrienne Dabrowski, AJ Smith, Angela Caley, Caitlin Andreea, Carrie Allen, Joseph Verrastro, Lorraine Cannon, Roscoe Duquette, & Victor Menesses. This exhibit is sponsored by Senator April N.M. Baskin.
