Nada Odeh (Founder & Executive Director, Arabesques) – From the early days of “Little Syria” to contemporary artistic expressions, Arab & Middle Eastern communities have shaped New York’s cultural landscape through literature, music, and evolving visual practices.  While calligraphy has been less prominent historically, its presence endures, reflecting a living and expanding artistic dialogue.
