Tom’s Restaurant began as Tom’s Texas Hots in 1969, serving hot dogs from a tiny Tonawanda storefront before relocating to Sheridan Drive and reinventing itself as the Home of the Souvlaki®. Now helmed by daughter Dora Kukuliatas-Wisniewski, this three-generation family gem dishes out sizzling souvlaki and gyros, Texas red hots slathered in homemade sauce, hearty moussaka, flaky spanakopita, all-day breakfast and a legendary dessert menu.
