At Read It & Eat, we believe that food and food writing connects us to our roots and to each other. We specialize in cookbooks, food writing (chef memoirs, food history), and good reads about food. Here, you’ll also find curated artisanal goods, including baking kits, global spices, and cocktail mixes. We also bring cookbook authors and food writers to Buffalo through our Talk x Taste Author Series, connecting our community and our food in one event.

Read It & Eat was voted Buffalo Spree’s Best of WNY Best Specialty Bookstore in 2025 and 2026. The bookshop also won Best Lecture Series in 2026 for its Talk x Taste Author Series.
