Nick Charlap’s Ice Cream – Kenmore

Nick Charlap’s Ice Cream at 2800 Elmwood Avenue near Sheridan Drive is a family-owned ice cream shop serving the Kenmore and North Buffalo area, one of several Nick Charlap’s locations across Western New York. It took over the longtime home of Reid’s on Elmwood in 2018, and the family, which has run the business for more than 50 years, makes its own premium hard ice cream in over 40 flavors, including Cinnamon, Bourbon Praline Pecan, Cotton Candy, Peppermint Stick, and Cashew Caramel Crunch. The shop opens daily at noon for takeout ordering, and there’s outdoor seating on site.
