McPartlan’s Corner

Jim and Louise McPartlan founded McPartlan’s Corner in South Buffalo in 1955. It moved to its current Wehrle Drive location in 1971. A true family operation, all eight McPartlan children have worked here at one point, and many still do today. Its perfectly preserved vibe and consistent, home-style cooking maintain its standing as a neighborhood favorite. It’s known for its reliably tasty interpretations of the classic fish fry, notable hot turkey and gravy and beef on ‘weck, as well as its truly affordable bar options and participation in the seasonal Tom and Jerry cocktail tradition.
