Fig Tree Patisserie at 3062 Delaware Avenue, on the Buffalo-Kenmore line, is a specialty bakery run by founder and head pastry chef Natalie Schultz, making custom cakes, hand-piped cut-out cookies, macarons, and French pastry alongside the Sicilian baking she grew up with. Every macaron is gluten-free by recipe with a new flavor added each month, and the daily pastry case stocks vegan, vegan gluten-free, gluten-free, and keto items right next to the traditional pastries. The bakery is open for walk-in purchases and order pickup Wednesday and Thursday from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Friday from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM, and Saturday from 8:00 AM to 1:00 PM, with custom cakes and cookies requiring at least 10 days’ notice.
