Creekview Restaurant
Williamsville, NY 14221
Creekview Restaurant occupies Amherst’s first homesite, built in 1799 and later used as General Winfield Scott’s headquarters during the War of 1812. Operating as a restaurant since 1971, the Creekview was purchased in 1996 by David Schutte, marking the first restaurant in what would become his respected Schutte Hospitality Group. Generations of diners love the Creekview and its view of Ellicott Creek. While some come for its daily specials, many crave its signature dishes, such as potato pancakes or spaghetti squash with prosciutto.
