Connor’s Restaurant
Buffalo, NY 14224
Fish fry dinners, beef on ‘weck with horseradish, and tangy German potato salad have kept regulars loyal to Connor’s Restaurant for generations. It was founded in 1890 when the Young family opened Young’s Tavern. Robert and Dorothy Connor bought the tavern in 1961, and the name was changed to Connor’s. The Schmidt family kept the restaurant and its traditions strong for more than 45 years, until Steven Vann and Kaylee Keller purchased it in spring 2026 with plans to preserve the name, staff, and menu.
