Indigo Chapel

Indigo Chapel at 211 Lafayette Ave in Buffalo’s Grant Street area is a bar and live music venue inside the former Tabernacle building on Lafayette Avenue near the corner of Grant Street, a circa-1922 tabernacle that had sat dormant since 2019 before reopening under owner Sean Burke. The venue’s cocktails carry names pulled from tarot cards such as The Hierophant and The Moon, and the pub-style food menu runs from sanctified chips, soups, and salads to a holy mac ‘n’ cheese, paninis, and roast beef and turkey sandwiches on ciabatta. Indigo Chapel is open for dine-in Tuesday through Thursday and Sunday from noon to 1 AM, Friday and Saturday from noon to 3 AM, closed Monday, and hosts live music along with game nights, art exhibits, performances, and trivia nights.
