Concord (a wine bar) is a refreshingly intimate addition to Buffalo’s Elmwood Village, where co-owners Julian Dell’Oso and Clayton Edison have brought their deep backgrounds in wine and hospitality to life in a candlelit space furnished with vintage finds and mismatched plates. The bar intentionally forgoes a traditional bar counter in favor of relaxed table service, pairing a globally adventurous wine list focused on natural and small-production bottles with a menu of elegant small plates. Connected to the beloved neighboring cheese shop Amabel Provisions, Concord offers a European-influenced evening out that feels as at home in a Manhattan side street as it does on one of Buffalo’s most beloved avenues.
