Parisi’s Piano Trio: A Musical Connection Between Chicago and Buffalo

Bassist Stephen Parisi Jr. presents a special evening of jazz bringing together three musicians with strong ties to the vibrant jazz communities of Chicago and Buffalo.

Featuring Grammy Award-winning pianist George Caldwell and Chicago-based drummer Tommy Sagins, this dynamic piano trio will perform a program of original arrangements by Parisi, reimagining beloved jazz standards with fresh interpretations and creative interplay.

The evening will also celebrate the rich musical histories of Chicago and Buffalo through compositions by influential musicians associated with both cities. For Parisi, this performance is especially meaningful, bringing together two of his favorite musicians from the cities that have shaped his musical journey. Combining tradition, creativity, and a shared passion for jazz, the trio promises an evening of inspired music and spontaneous collaboration.
