Story Time & Collage Activity: Abdul-Razak Zachariah

Join children’s author and 2026 Creative Resident Abdul-Razak Zachariah for a story time reading of his new children’s story, leave a crack for the light, along with other stories about communities working together to celebrate, create, and rebuild the spaces that matter to them.

Then, stay for Collective Visions, an all-ages creative activity where participants will use historical images and other materials to cut, paste, and draw their visions for neighborhoods filled with joy, welcome, comfort, and liberation.

This is a chance to imagine what our communities can become when we create together.

Free and open to the public. Pre-registration required. Space is limited.
