STRIDER THE MUSIC OF THE 1980s

The ’80s were loud, colorful and larger than life. MTV ruled the airwaves, rock bands packed clubs and concert halls, and Western New York had a thriving live music scene.

Now, one of the area’s most popular rock bands from that era is getting back together.

Strider will reunite its original lineup Glenda Chausse, Mike Runo, Matt Young, Johnny Magnum and Joe Martucci for the first time in more than 35 years.

Author and historian Rick Falkowski will explore the music and culture of the 1980s, from the rise of MTV to the local clubs, concert halls and touring bands that defined the era.

Expect stories, memories and a live performance from the musicians who were there.

The ’80s are back for one night at The Caz.
