Ristorante Lombardo

Ristorante Lombardo was founded in 1975 by Thomas J. Lombardo Sr. and Thomas Lombardo Jr., who converted a former frozen pizza factory on Hertel Avenue into a family restaurant featuring family recipes. In the 1990s, Tom Jr. and his wife, Donna, began shaping a more regionally focused menu inspired by their travels in Italy. Son Tommy returned to Buffalo in 2012, making Lombardo’s a three-generation operation known for its high-quality seasonal fare, excellent service, and well-appointed dining room.
