Ripa’s Restaurant
Lancaster, NY 14086
Ripa’s Restaurant traces its roots to the late 1940s, when Harry Ripa, whose family hailed from Italy’s Marche region, opened his first business in Depew. In 1953, he purchased and renovated a former schoolhouse, opening Ripa’s at its current location in 1955. After Harry’s death in 1966, nephews Ray and Ennio Ripa took over, later joined by Ray’s son Tony as third-generation manager. Diners return over and over for Ripa’s homemade pastas and sauces, baked stuffed shrimp, char-broiled fish, thick pork chops and Roseann’s gnocchi, all served in a warm, family-friendly setting.
