Brunner’s Tavern

Brunner’s Tavern has been a neighborhood fixture in Eggertsville since 1915. Known for hearty, no-frills bar food and its lived-in tavern feel, diners come for char-grilled wings, clubs, melts, and a reliably great Friday fish fry. However, the standout is the simple perfection of its steak sandwich, where a whole New York strip is served on a roll with sautéed onions, peppers and mushrooms under a blanket of melted provolone. While Brunner’s only accepts cash, it’s worth the stop at a nearby ATM.
