The Matt Michaud Trio Plays Hendrix

A collision of psychedelia, improvisation, and reinvention. The Matt Michaud Trio brings a bold new perspective to the music of Jimi Hendrix, taking familiar melodies somewhere entirely unexpected while preserving the power and spirit of the originals.

The trio has steadily built a following of listeners who return for exactly that experience: the thrill of recognizing music they know, only to hear new possibilities emerge from it. Each performance is a reminder of the enduring quality of great music, how a familiar song can become something new in the hands of musicians with their own imagination and voice.

This is not imitation or nostalgia. It’s Hendrix reimagined.
