Nick Charlap’s Ice Cream – Canalside

Nick Charlap’s at Canalside is a seasonal walk-up ice cream stand on the Canalside Boardwalk at 44 Prime Street on Buffalo’s downtown waterfront, run by the family-owned Nick Charlap’s Ice Cream. The stand sits in front of the Buffalo Heritage Carousel and serves the family’s homemade hard ice cream, along with soft serve, hot fudge sundaes, and novelty treats. It’s open from mid-May through Labor Day, weekends only until Memorial Day and then daily through the summer, with hours that may change based on the weather.
