ZillaKami

ZillaKami carved out his own lane in the underground with a raw, genre-blurring style that fused hip-hop, punk, trap metal, and nu metal. His aggressive vocals, distorted guitars, and hard-hitting production quickly became hallmarks of his solo identity.

Born Junius Rogers in Bay Shore, New York, ZillaKami first entered the music scene through punk before finding his footing in New York’s underground rap community. Early collaborations helped establish his reputation for bringing punk’s intensity and rawness into hip-hop. He released his debut EP, LifeIsAHorrorMovie, in 2017.

As his profile grew, ZillaKami expanded his solo catalog while experimenting with heavier and more melodic songwriting. Tracks such as “Chains” and “Badass” marked his progression toward a more developed individual identity.

That evolution culminated in September 2021 with DOG BOY, his debut solo mixtape. Moving between hardcore aggression and more melodic material, the project marked a defining new chapter in ZillaKami’s career and established him as a solo artist beyond his earlier collaborations.
