Day Dreams and Night Sweats – Opening Reception

Day Dreams and Night Sweats, featuring the music of David Lynch, celebrates the artwork of local cinematographer/artist Michael G Mathews and digital artist Daniel J Syracuse. While the surreal landscapes of DJ Syracuse bend the laws of nature in his framed Giclee prints, and Michael Mathews’ canvas prints and 3D assemblages stage the human form against found objects, each artists’ imagery questions reality. A collaborative effort of both artists, the imaginary metal band from the 1980’s “Dead Pu**y” debuts its concert poster. With poster editions 2/25-25/25 matted and signed by the artists available for sale, along with concert T-Shirts – these are must have collectables! All displayed artwork is for sale at the Gala.
