Annie in the water w/ Sophistafunk

Annie in the Water is Americana indie rock grown out of upstate New York from the roots of two guitars, maturing to a  powerful five-piece with drums, bass, keyboards/synthesizers and multiple-part harmonies. Because the band is capable  of playing almost any genre, listeners may feel a vast array of emotions as the songwriting traverses rock, funk, reggae, folk, bluegrass, dance-beat and more.

 

The rhythm section creates a driving landscape over which guitars and synthe- sizers paint beautiful melodies; where   there is an abundance of intentional   lyrics, there is no shortage of tastefully exploratory improvisation to send everyone to the moon and back.
