Where to Catch 4th of July Fireworks Around Buffalo, NY

Independence Day is the perfect time of the year to visit Buffalo. With summer’s warmth in town for the Fourth, you can enjoy all the very best that Buffalo has to offer. During the day, explore our revitalized waterfront with the whole family, relax on one of many local beaches or grab a frosty pint at our homegrown breweries.

Once the sun sets, the skies of Erie county will be bursting with the rocket’s red glare. Here’s a list of every town, village and venue hosting their own fireworks displays this weekend!

Special Events

Buffalo Bisons Independence Night with the BPO

Thursday, July 3rd at Sahlen Field, 1 James D. Griffin Plaza, Buffalo, NY

Three great American pastimes – Bisons baseball, booming fireworks and the Buffalo Philharmonic Orchestra – come together for a special Independence Day celebration. The Buffalo Bisons host the Rochester Red Wings, followed by a celebration of our nation’s birthday with the BPO, guest appearances and the largest fireworks display of the season! The game begins at 6:05pm with the concert and fireworks beginning around 9:15pm. More information at Buffalo Bisons Independence Night.

Fireworks Over Niagara Falls

July 1st & 4th, Niagara Falls State Park, 332 Prospect Street, Niagara Falls, NY

Celebrate independence this year in a unique way! Enjoy a special fireworks show on July 1st (Canada Day) and July 4th (Independence Day). The 9-minute firework show will take place at 10pm on each of these dates, and the best viewing locations will be at Terrapin Point and Prospect Point. 4th of July Carnival at the Great Pumpkin Farm

July 4th & 5th, Great Pumpkin Farm, 11199 Main Street, Clarence, NY

While the pumpkins are still a few months away, bring the family to the Great Pumpkin Farm’s special 4th of July celebration for live music, carnival rides, face painting, fair food and more! • Depew at Fireman’s Park, 90 Gould Ave, Depew, NY. Fireworks begin at 9pm following a concert by the Boys of Summer.

• East Aurora at Hamlin Park, Prospect Avenue, East Aurora, NY. Festivities begin at 6:30pm. Fireworks begin at dusk.

• Silver Creek at Hideaway Bay Resort, 42 Lake Avenue, Silver Creek, NY. Fireworks begin at dusk on the beach.

• Springville at Concord Town Park, Springville, NY. Festivities begin at 6:30pm. Fireworks begin at dusk.

•Tonawanda at Kenney Park, 2000 Colvin Boulevard, Tonawanda, NY. The Independence Celebration event includes food trucks, live music at 7pm, with the fireworks beginning around 9:30pm. More information here: Independence Celebration

• Grand Island at Niagara Amusement Park & Splash World at Fantasy Island, 2400 Grand Island Boulevard, Grand Island, NY. Fireworks begin at 9pm.

• Lancaster in Central Business District, Lancaster, NY. Fireworks begin at 10pm.

• Lewiston at Academy Park, 170 South 9th Street, Lewiston, NY. Fireworks begin at dusk.

• Marilla at Marilla Fireman’s Grounds, 1950 West Avenue, Marilla, NY. Fireworks begin at dusk.

• North Tonawanda near Renaissance Bridge, Main Street, North Tonawanda, NY. Fireworks begin at dusk.

• Orchard Park at Orchard Park Middle School, 60 South Lincoln Avenue, Orchard Park, NY. Fireworks begin at 9pm.

• Pendleton at Pendleton Town Park, 6570 Campbell Boulevard, Pendleton, NY. Fireworks begin at 10pm. Rain date is Sunday, July 6th.
